Dean, Dr. Onesmus MaweuThe School of Pure and Applied Sciences in South Eastern Kenya University(SEKU), since its inception in 2010 has established itself as a centre of excellence in teaching and research. A number of programs which are tailor-made for our clients have been developed since the school was founded. The school is focused and consistently develops programs that produce graduates who are equipped with skills that are meant to meet the challenges of the 21st century. Apart from meeting its core function of teaching basic sciences, the school services other schools in the university college.
The school’s programs are offered in all the campuses of the university , i.e., Main campus, Kitui, Mtito- Andei Campus, Tala Campus, Machakos and WoteTown campuses.
The school is made up of three departments:
1. Department of Biological Sciences
2. Department of Physical Sciences
3. Department of Mathematics and Actuarial Sciences
