The Department of Telecommunication and Information Technology (IT) offers two programmes. These are Bachelor of Information Technology (BIT) and Diploma in Information Technology (DIT). These were developed to meet the growing market demand for IT specialists. The curricula reflect the latest trends in ICT that guarantee graduates who are equipped with the latest technology. The scope of the programmes covers a range of disciplines in IT to avail a wide choice to prospective students in readiness to the array of available career opportunities. In addition, the department offers KNEC Diploma in IT which is a modular programme and KASNEB’s Certified Information Communication Technologist.
