• Staff Profiles

Authors are encouraged to submit original and unpublished results of conceptual, experimental, or theoretical work in all areas of Food Safety and Health. We invite submissions that focus on any pertinent topic relevant to Food Safety and Health. These include, but are not limited to

  • Mycotoxins in grain and grain products in Africa
  • Foodborne pathogens in food-producing animals and livestock products
  • Agricultural pesticides in Africa and public health
  • Foodborne pathogens and human health
  • Contamination of fresh produce and irrigation water
  • Food safety and food establishments
  • Food safety regulations - law and food/health policy of the entire food chain
  • Food processing and technology
  • Consumer food safety awareness

Abstracts should include the following information: Objective, problem under investigation, methods, results, and statement of how the research advances food safety. Information in the abstract must not have been previously published in a copyrighted journal.
