The South Eastern Kenya University has made another stride by launching a SOKO DAY that will give students the freedom to buy and sell their products within the institution without competition.
A unique event that was opened by the Registrar Academic Affairs Dr. John Koga with members of SOKO DAY committee led by the Chair Prof. Augustus Wali and the Student Governing Council.
Several products were sold among then electronics, clothes and foodstuffs. The student fraternity received this day with great joy and wished that the University Management Board would allow it to be done weekly or twice a months.
