South Eastern Kenya University (SEKU) is set to host the IEEE Electronics Packaging Society (EPS) Summer School 2026 on 14th and 15th July 2026, bringing together students, researchers, industry experts, and technology enthusiasts for two days of learning, innovation, and professional networking.
The event, organized by the IEEE Electronics Packaging Society (EPS) – SEKU Student Branch in partnership with the IEEE Kenya Section, aims to equip participants with practical knowledge and emerging trends in electronics packaging and related technologies. The Summer School will provide an interactive platform where participants will engage with experts through technical presentations, hands-on sessions, discussions, and networking opportunities.
The programme is designed to enhance participants' understanding of electronics packaging while exposing them to current industry practices, research opportunities, and career pathways in engineering and technology. It also seeks to inspire innovation and strengthen collaboration between academia, industry, and professional engineering bodies.
To encourage greater student participation, IEEE has offered subsidized registration rates for student members. IEEE Electronics Packaging Society (EPS) Student Members will pay KSh 500, while IEEE Student Members will pay KSh 1,000, enabling EPS Student Members to save KSh 500 on registration.
