PRINCIPAL DRIVER GRADE 11 (FORMERLY GRADE 5) – REF: SEKU/ADV/AD/01/23/09/2026 – 8 POSITIONS

Job Specification
The duties and responsibilities of Principal Driver Grade 11 entail:

• Driving assigned plant/vehicles.
• Maintaining safety and security of plant/vehicles to minimize pilferage and extend the life span of the plant.
• Maintaining work ticket.
• Implementing scheduled maintenance.
• Updating insurance and other licenses.

Person Specification
For appointment to this post, a candidate must:

• Have twelve (12) years relevant working experience.
• Have Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education mean grade D Plain or its equivalent with proficiency in English and Kiswahili.
• Have a clean valid driving license Classes A, B, C, E and PSV.
• Have a First-Aid Certificate.
• Have passed Suitability Test for Driver Grade I.
• Have an Occupational Test Grade I certificate.
• Have a valid Certificate of Good Conduct.
• Have Advanced Defensive Driving Certificate.
• Be proficient in computer applications.
• Satisfy the requirements of Chapter Six of the Constitution of Kenya (2010) on Leadership and Integrity upon successful appointment.

SENIOR DRIVER GRADE 12 (FORMERLY GRADE 4) – REF: SEKU/ADV/AD/02/23/09/2026 – 5 POSITIONS

a) Job Specification
The duties and responsibilities entail:

• Driving assigned plant/vehicles.
• Maintaining safety and security of plant/vehicles to minimize pilferage and extend the life span of the plant.
• Maintaining work ticket.
• Implementing scheduled maintenance.
• Updating insurance and other licenses.

b) Requirements for Appointment
For appointment to this post, a candidate must:

• Possess KCSE – D Plain or its equivalent from a recognized institution.
• Have at least eight (8) years relevant working experience.
• Possess a Driving license A, B, C, E and PSV.
• Have a Certificate of good conduct.
• Be proficient in English and Kiswahili.
• Be computer literate.
• Satisfy the requirements of Chapter Six of the Constitution of Kenya on Leadership and Integrity.
